April 6, 2019 Meetup Recap

We had a record breaking 43 Ketonians attend the April 6, 2019 Meetup held at LUV Ice Cream in North Saint Paul, MN. There were several new faces as well as several returning friends.

SMALL TALK

We had small talk for a few minutes while people gathered.

We each introduced ourselves and answered the question: What is a recent keto success?

Several items were mentioned including:

  • Being a healthier kid.

  • Influencing friends and family to become healthier.

  • Chelsea brought both Lemon Bars and keto “snickers” bars. She hasn’t perfected the “snickers” recipe yet but she is working on it.

  • Keto Konversations is a new theme for the Twin Cities Keto You Tube channel that will feature local people living the keto lifestyle. John was Jason’s first interview. Contact Jason if you are interested in participating in a Keto Konversation.

  • The Lakes Area Low-Carb Conference is a one day conference on May 18 in Pequot Lakes featuring Dr. Eric Westman, Adele Hite, Jenni Calihan, and Amy Berger. Tickets are available on Eventbrite. The conference is organized by Dr. Jeremiah Eisenschenk, a family practice physician in the Brainerd, Minnesota area.
